birthday I think you are an amazing person and I am thrilled to be part of your life Because of that, I wanted to give you something for your birthday that is as exciting as you are. Normally we have been going away for your birthday. Like Washington, DC last year... or New Bern, the year before My original thought was to go to Denver. It's one of my favorite cities But this year, you are starting a new job. (yay!) So going away for a weekend is not an option (boo!) I wanted to show you Red Rocks. One of the most amazing amphitheater's in the world. (Look at that view!) We will still do that one day soon. As soon as you get some vacation time from this place. But that doesn't help me celebrate the birthday of one of the most amazing and exciting people I know. Stop laughing. I stand by what I said. You are amazing and I have exciting adventures with you. Where was I? Oh yeah... Birthday! I had strict criteria for a birthday present. It had to be exciting... It had to be something we could experience together... Finally, it had to be something you wouldn't get yourself. But what? (no you are not getting this car) Then I remembered a conversation we had recently And it hit me. The perfect gift to make your day happy and memorable. This may sound crazy... and you can say 'no' and my feelings will not be hurt I believe this picture is correct So for your birthday, I would like to have you pushed out of an airplane. And fall to the earth at 130 MPH And remember that shared experience? I'll be experiencing it from the ground! So what do you say?
